Estúdio Rain

Think twice before trying to classify a work from the Estúdio Rain by Ricardo Innecco and Mariana Ramos. He is an architect and she is a product designer. Determined to resignify everyday objects, the furniture and objects created by the duo are not always exactly what they seem. In favor of the duo, two pertinent and complementary views. Ricardo is more concerned with structural challenges while Mariana is concerned with the dimension of the scale, the execution of each piece. The partnership is fueled by a common passion: the Modernism of the most diverse countries: Brazil, Scandinavia or Italy. Both professionals were born in Brasilia and settled in São Paulo, where they have been working together since 2014. They point out that the move to São Paulo is a milestone in the studio career, to the point that many of their creations today no longer revisit Niemeyer's curves to flirt openly with the verticality of the City of São Paulo.

The range of Tempo tables and Pendente 11 lamp fixture, designed by Rain for the Bossa Nova collection, are pieces that pursue the idea of timelessness. They convey the idea of permanence of furniture throughout the history of a family, their memories, and traditions. On the other hand, they are pieces that contrast their austerity and versatility, being designed to adapt themselves to the most diverse rooms and styles, without ever imposing themselves on the spaces. On the contrary, they accompany their users throughout their journey.
